I am posting here the Ham and Cheese Lasagna Recipe using my fresh homemade Spinach Lasagna Pasta Recipe.

INGREDIENTS FOR THE LASAGNA:
This will make 1 lasagna.
– 1 or 2 packages of sliced ham (depending if you want lots of ham)
– lots of shredded mozzarella or you can use sliced mozzarella cheese
– 1 recipe of fresh pasta (or you can use store bough if you prefer, follow directions of the package)
INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE:
– 5 tablespoons of butter
– 4 tablespoons of all purpose flour
– 4 cups of milk
– pinch of nutmeg
– salt and pepper to your taste
HOW TO MAKE THE SAUCE:
Preheat your oven to 375 F.
Heat the milk but do not boil it. On a sauce pan on your stove on medium heat add the butter until melted, then add flour and start whisking with a wire whisk until all combined and it turns into a light brown color. Then add the hot milk a cup at a time always whisking and let the mixture boil for about 10 minutes then add nutmeg, salt and pepper to your taste. Don’t forget to ALWAYS whisk it otherwise it will create lumps. Your sauce will be thick, if you want it lighter and more liquid you can turn off heat and add milk to your sauce. Reserve.
HOW TO MAKE THE LASAGNA LAYERS:
On a baking sheet add enough sauce to the bottom of the pan and lay the lasagna sheets enough to cover bottom then add ham (1 or 2 layers), then cheese and then sauce, you will repeat this 3 times. The last layer you will cover with the lasagna sheets, sauce and then cheese. You can sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on the top and bake it for about 30-40 minutes.
Let it sit there for about 15 min so your sauce will thicken up again.
