CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE (brazilian Nega maluca cake)

Chocolate Cake

This is a heavier cake but Its DELICIOUS!!!!!

INGREDIENTS FOR THE CAKE:

– 3 eggs

– 1 1/2 cups of sugar

– 2 cups of all purpose flour

– 1 cup of chocolate powder

– 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

– 1 tablespoon of baking powder

– 1 pinch of salt

– 1 cup of hot water

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Preheat your oven to 350 F.

With the flat beater on your KitchenAid Mixer beat the sugar and eggs together until it becomes a cream, then start adding oil, chocolate powder, flour, hot water until all is combined.

Turn off your mixer and fold in the baking powder gently.

Grease and flour a baking sheet and pour your cake batter into it.

Bake it for about 40 minutes (always keep an eye on your cake, you can always check it with the toothpick to see if its almost ready but not before at least 30 minutes)

INGREDIENTS FOR THE CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

– 1 can of condensed milk

– 1/2 cup of milk

-1 tablespoon of butter ( you can also use margarine)

– about 5 tablespoon of chocolate powder (you can use more or less depending on how you like it)

HOW TO MAKE THE CHOCOLATE GLAZE:

On a pan add the condensed milk, milk, chocolate powder and butter and to the stove it goes on medium heat.

With the help of a wooden spoon start stirring it and NEVER stop, because this is burn the bottom of the pan if you stop, make sure you get bottom and sides when you are stirring it.

Whenever starts boiling and if you bend the pan to the side you will notice the glaze comes out of the bottom of the pan than you know its ready.

Make holes all over  your cake with the help of a toothpick so the glaze can absorb into the cake and pour the glaze over your cake.

I like decorating with chocolate sprinkles. Everyone will love this cake!
